Capstone


    
    As a culmination of our work at New England Tech we spend the last two quarters working in small teams to develop a single working game. With my team, programmer Candon Needham and artist Craig Everett, we developed a sci-fi themed dungeon crawler incorporating aspects made popular by games such as Legend of Zelda, requiring the player to scavenge equipment as he works his way through the levels, defeating enemies and fighting for his survival.

    Though I would work on several aspects including the camera, puzzles, and player items, my main responsibility was finding a system to manage the AI navigation and developing logic loops for them to interact with the level, ranging from simple melee units, to ranged snipers, to end-game bosses with a complex series of attacks.
